the American Heart Association and its fight against our nation's #1
and #3 killers, heart disease and stroke.

enjoy.  You'll be helping to raise funds for important research and
education programs, and it only takes a few hours of your time.

Eligibility Requirements

• Applicants must be either high school seniors, or students already attending an
  accredited undergraduate college, university or technical college, as full-time
  students.
• Applicants must have achieved a GPA of at least 2.75.  
• Applicants must be qualified employees of a SUBWAY® restaurant. A qualified
  employee is defined as: an employee scheduled to work a minimum of 15 hours per
  week, and one who has been employed by a SUBWAY® restaurant for a minimum of
  six months prior to January 1, 2006.
• Recipients may attend any accredited two-year or four-year public or private college,
  university, technical college of TAFE located anywhere in the world.  

Scholarships will be awarded in the amount of $1,000 (US) each. Recipients will be chosen
on the basis of academic achievement, scholarship performance, scholastic aptitude,
essays, and letters of recommendation.

DEADLINE:
Applicants must submit the on-line application no later than November 30, 2005.
All additional required materials must be postmarked no later than November 30, 2005.
